Noblesville Mill Top Glam Fall Wedding // Kim & Matt

“Love doesn’t like being left alone for long. But come home and love is always happy to see you.” // How Falling in Love Is Like Owning A Dog by Taylor Mali

Last October I had the distinct pleasure of working with some of the sweetest people ever at their big day at The Mill Top Banquet and Conference Center in Noblesville. It was a fun day full of friends and family celebrating Kim + Matt coming together at a beautiful fall wedding surrounded by exposed brick, gorgeous flowers, and twinkle lights. I met Kim + Matt through my past bride and groom Laura + Jon. I remember Kim’s red hair swinging around on the dance floor at their wedding and her own wedding was no exception. These two adorable gingers tied must be well loved because they tied the knot to a packed house and danced the night away surrounded by tons of people!

Everything about Kim + Matt’s fashion details were beautiful! Kim’s color scheme for the whole day was deep reds, gold, and splashes of pink. Everything down to the groom and groomsmen’s socks worked perfectly within the theme.

Her silk dress was stunning. Her rose gold jewelry was beautiful. But it was her Kate Spade sparkly bow shoes that had me all heart eyes and rapid fire shutter finger during her detail photos!

Kim was surrounded by one fabulous group of girls. These two photos remind me of why I love my friends so much and how much fun it was to be in one of my best friends weddings.

Matt gave Kim such a thoughtful wedding day gift. Not only did he get her earrings and a bracelet for her to wear but he also got her a necklace that said, “My Favorite” written in his handwriting! Cue the “awwww’s.”

Grooms with fun colored socks on their wedding day is my favorite groom accessory. That and fun cufflinks! Groom prep isn’t usually as ceremonial and a “big deal” as bride prep but it was nice to spend some solo, one-on-one time with Matt before he had his first look with Kim. Plus I’m sure he enjoyed receiving her gift... ;)

The day Kim and Matt got married was a beautiful day in October. While there was a bit of chill in the air, the sun was out and it was a slight enough breeze that if it were spring people would be wearing flip flops! The weather was beautiful, the trees were golden, and love was in the crisp fall air.

When you have one heckuva fun wedding party you get fun wedding party photos like these. This group seriously NAILED the fun/crazy photo. All I had to do was say, “Okay, on the count of three be wild, 1...2...3!” And boom, they were perfect. #NailedIt

Kim + Matt chose to have their ceremony and reception in the Great Room of The Mill Top. It’s one of the venue’s biggest rooms and they have the ceremony in one half while the reception is set up and curtained off in the other half. Kim was escorted down the aisle by her mother and given away to Matt. They exchanged vows and a poem called “How Falling In Love Is Like Raising A Dog” was read. After the ceremony ends they clear out for cocktail hour and The Mill Top finishes setting the room for the reception. Kim and Matt could not have had a more beautiful ceremony and reception. The color scheme was stunning and I loved all the flowers.

Once the reception began there were hugs, kisses, laughter, tears, dancing, and many, many drinks that were had. It was a super fun time surrounded by pink uplighting and twinkle lights abound. It was a reception for the books I tell ya!

Just before my time with them ended we ran upstairs to The Mill Top’s rooftop terrace and captured some amazing sunset photos. And boy were they amazing.
