Indianapolis Vintage Fountain Square Theatre Wedding // Kim & Andy
RED LIPSTICK, PIN CURLS, & A VINTAGE CAR...
They're all I really need you know. I love me some vintage fashion. If I could go back to any time period for fashion alone it would definitely be the 1940's. Red lipstick, pin curls, pencil skirts, and girls with curves. Plus the vintage car?! Yes. Please.
Kim + Andy's quirky vintage wedding at the Fountain Square Theatre was nothing short of spectacular last weekend! I loved every single thing about it. Not to mention Andy's 1967 Dodge Dart that he has had since he was 17! Yes! It was all SPECTACULAR!
Kim's dress was absolutely adorable! I loved the tea length and just everything about it! Not to mention her adorable Betsey Johnson shoes. She committed to those suckers too! Wore them all through the pictures until after the ceremony where she switched to some delightful orange pumps that were not quite as tall. The color scheme of this day was just grand! Fall colors with a touch of the mint/teal blue color. Omg, I DIE!
Hellllllloooooo bling! Both of their rings were Andy's grandparents so the sentimental value here was through the roof. Plus I'm loving this shimmery background I had going on here. Props to me!
Kim... you're just gorgeous. And I love you.
It was a little cold and drizzly outside so we decided to do their first look inside The Smokehouse on Shelby. It was absolutely perfect and totally suited them. I loved how excited Andy was when he saw Kim. It was prettttttty adorable.
After their first look we moved straight into some bridal party photos. This was one rockstar group of individuals. Braving the cold and being all around stellar people all day. Couldn't have asked for a better bridal party!
So let's talk some more about Kim + Andy and their adorableness. And that car?! I seriously could have photographed with it all freaking day. But also, their marquee at the theatre?! It was all pretty fantastic.
Their reception was so incredibly sweet. I loved the readings they had and I loved that Andy's brother in law officiated. (Funny story, Matt went to high school with him!) There were tons of personal touches that I felt totally spoke to them as a couple It was definitely a wonderful ceremony filled to the brim with an audience of adoring friends and family.
All of the reception details were just fabulous. Especially the flowers by Courtney at Violets Are Blue Floral. She did an amazing job! I loved everything about this reception. Especially their repurposed K & A marquee letters!
Ahhhh first dances. A time in the evening where I just sit and watch all of the love unfold. Probably some of my favorite part of the evening.
Everyone had a wonderful time at the wedding! Especially cause of the awesome band that worked many hours practicing songs to play at the reception and then there was a DJ spinning actual records. Everyone was dancing, sweating an having a good time. Plus, the photo booth by Indy Photo Booths was, as always, pretty great.
Kim... Andy... it was a pleasure to be in attendace for your special day. I felt priviledged to not only photograph your wedding but to witness you two joining together for life. It's always a little more touching photographing a wedding for a friend and your wedding was no different. I look forward to continuing to grow our friendship and to watch you two live your lives out with your sweet pups in your adorable Fountain Square home. Enjoy the many many years I know you will have together
